The first lab confirmed case in the United States came from Washington State onJanuary 20, 2020 and is still occurring today.B1. Epidemiological Determinants and Risk Factors Covid 19 is a rapidly spreading respiratory virus. It is transmitted through dropletsand spread through the air. It can be easily spread by coughing, sneezing or just by simplytouching a contaminated surface. You are considered infectious 2 days before you startshowing symptoms, or, 2 days before the date of your positive test result. Symptoms of thevirus include cough, shortness of breath, fever, loss of taste and/or smell, sore throat,diarrhea, body aches, malaise and a sore throat. These symptoms vary from person toperson. In my own experience, I have seen that some people that never experience even onesymptom and others have lost their life. This virus effects everyone differently. Typically,these symptoms present within 2-14 days of exposure and can last up to 14 days.
